The history of the hotel

The hotel’s history starts in 1939 when Hans and Bergliot Nygaard started the business that developed to be very popular.

After a fire in 1961 the hotel was reconstructed.

Ingrid and Erling Erlandsen took over and sold the hotel to Berit Ljone and Knut Brattebraaten.In March 2011 they sold the hotel to Hans Konrad Amundlien.

In 1999 Rondane Spa became the first mountain Spa of the year.
